Default questions re:P0327 and P0332

Has anyone ever had these codes? I know they are for low voltage signals coming from both knock sensors, but I'm wondering what would cause it. When I got the codes, the idle started to act a little weird, kind of had a cruise control feel to it. Would a bad KS signal cause this?

My first thought is that the wires going to the knock sensors got damaged when I was re-installing the intake.

It seems logical that both codes would mean the wire is bad. If one KS goes there's only one code for that KS, and what are the chances of both sensors going bad at the same time?

I wonder if the melted wires I found squished between the intake and the head had anything to do with it??

I swear, I do some stoopid stuff sometimes!!

I did the same thing. I took no care routing the wire and paid the price. At least you know a new wire will solve your DTCs.
