Default What Results Did You Get From Modding Timing Table?

I've had good results with fuel system tuning and other tweeks but, on the dyno, I've seen very little variation from tweeking the timing table. It seems the stock setting are pretty good and I've only seen negligable changes as I moved the curves up.

Anyone else notice this or am I all wet?

Sorry I dont have an answer to your question Mark but maybe you can answer one for me...

Have you had any "false" knock issues with your set up? Ever since I put my TR224 and ASP on I am getting KR in all gears throughout the entire RPM range. I've troubleshot it with race gas and lowered timing tables, but it still has KR. I've posted this question to the board but cant get any replies. Thanks.

Chris:

UD pullies can definetly cause false KR. ASP is the best of them but on some cars, they can as well. How much KR are you getting? I slightly detuned my KR when I put the cam in put it sounds like your problem is the pulley.

I think the ATI pulley is the least likely to cause KR but it's about 10% underdrive.

One of the mag's also says a cheap aftermarket stat can cause KR, by fluttering open and shutting and the KR sensor can pick it up.
