discrepancy btwn injector correction factor and excel data
using the correction factor method here:
godspeed injector scaling page
i get these first 3 data points for42# injectors
(for 98 injectors flow rate using 98 1.696 correction factor) -> 6.13952 6.17344 6.20736
(for 99 injectors flow rate using 99 1.837 correction factor) -> 6.11720 6.15533 6.19322
why are the above not identical? or the same as the following?
using the injector scaling excel spreadsheet here:
Godspeed's Injector scaling excel spreadsheet
(running the numbers for 42# injectors at 43.5 psi they are) -> 6.110675 6.148758 6.186607
which one do i use? please help and let me know if i need to clarify anything, again these are the first 3 values for the injector flow rate vs. map values of 0,,5,10 kpa respectively
or still why not use the calculation from the spreadsheet at the bottom vs the 98 setting?
im gonna try the 98 table, but the excel calculated value seems to have some more meat behind the numbers.

props to you, you are a smart dude. i will use the spreadsheet values, now i have everything i need assuming the injector offset is the same for all years of ls1's., or at least that the offsets on the ford 42 were gained from starting with a 98 injector.
