Default AutoTap v2.02 O2 Sensor Question

I logged my car with AT v2,02 and got some funny numbers for the Bank 1 & 2 O2 Sensors (Sensors 1). In reviewing the log I see O2 numbers of 3.5 on Bank 1 and 4.0 on Bank 2.

I expected numbers like .85 to .95, but nothing greater than 1. Is this still buggy or am I doing something wrong?

First hook up everything as like you would for ATap.
Next start in the console section F6, the click the Green button on the top left of screen.
If the program don't start look in the properties, Alt + Enter make sure you Atap2.x tick and the 19200 baud rate, then restart the the green button again.
Once you are connect enter you password in the dialog box, if it don't show, go to HELP look under Register EFILiveV5, as if you don't register you only get 5 second of logging.

Next, "Check PIDs" (Shift-F1) functionality to see which PIDs are supported by your particular vehicle. Each PID that is not supported has a red cross through it's icon. Unsupported PIDs should not be selected, if they are selected they will return random results.
Once you done this go to F12 and selected the Pid you want to look at by double clicking on them activate that particular Pid.

Select one Pid by right clicking on it, next a dialog box opens, select, Set all PID's to imperial if you metric click Set all to metric.

Next go to you charts F9 and right click to set Pid in any Pid Box.
Click on the Pid you want for that box.
Next click on the green button on the right hand side and save a log file name.
Once you save the name the program will start recording.
To stop the program click on the red button on the right hand side and to exit the whole program click on the left hand side red button.

Hey SIK, I think he is talking about the AutoTap V2 software not EFILiveV5 using the AutoTap V2 hardware.

Good description though

I believe AutoTap are working to solve the PID scaling issues and will have a new version available soon.

Paul

The reason your getting wacky numbers for your o2s is that Atap V2 reads them in milli Volts. Instaed of Volts like version 1 did. I haven't found a way to change it to Volts yet. The Volts selection is available, but grayed out!
I'm using the spreadsheet from Ls1info. I'm now in the process of adjusting it so it can show the right readings for mV. I'll keep you guys updated.

If it were reading in millivolts on mine then I should be getting readings of 850 to 950 at WOT, but instead I get 3.5 to 4.5 using AutoTap so it must be something other than needing to dividey 1000.

I gave up on AutoTap and followed the info on setting up LS1LiveV5 -- I'm now using that and it works great. Much more reliable that AT2.02 -- my O2's are reading 880 to 900 with LS1LiveV5 -- it reads in milivolts also, but it at least reads correctly.
