I already told you to buy HP Tuners. But if you are insistent on getting a one time tune Combination Motorsports in Vegas does a pretty good job. Also Edge Diesel Products is starting to tune some cars in Ogden. They tuned my buddys turboed Slobra and got him from 500rwhp to 720 at the wheels. I still would recommend getting a software so you can change tune from time to time. Especially if you plan on running SD, it can change up to 4% daily with our crazy Utah climate. Anyway thats my 2 cents.

Oh no sorry I didn't clarify. That was the difference between 10 lb.s and a very rich safe tune on 91 octane and 17 lb.s and 110 octane race gas. I was being sarcastic about Edge they are mainly a diesel shop but promised my buddy a tune if he'd advertise for him. It only took him about a month and a half to finally get on a dyno. They'd be my last choice. I'd drive to Vegas if I had to.

Agreed. Why pay $500 for a tune one time when you can get the software for the same price and continuosly play with all the variables. Especially nice if you ever change your setup which almost all of us do at one time or another.

Your own tuning software = steep learning curve, but once you get over that, it is really the best investment you can make with your car. You will learn why your car does some of the quirky things it does...like why the fuel level gauge isn't really all that accurate, stuff like that.

Don't be scared away by the seemingly impossible nature of tuning a modern vehicle...I promise that most so-called "professional" tuners don't really know all that much about tuning cars. They know a few tricks here and there that produces results, but isn't necessarily the "right" way to tune a car.
