how to diable tcs?
is there any way to rewire the switch so tcs is off and when you hit the button it turns it on? i know slp sells something, for one im not gonna buy it, but i was just wondering if there is like a signal wire or something that can be switched. i have no idea on the wiring of i, never seen a schematic, but i was wondering if there is anyway to do it, for free lol

well apparently a schematic does me no good lol. thats what i was wondering though. if it is like a relay normally open or closed. i would think you could swtich some leads to make it the opposite. im just waiting for someone that knows electrical stuff to come on here and make fun of me and tell me there is no way in hell that can happen and i am a moron lol i should have paid more attention in the basic elec. class i had i guess

Just unplug the damn thing if you can live with the light on the dash...
It's the connector plug behind the battery on the bottom of the TCS gadget.
Unplugged=Off, and it's free.

I just unplugged the connector under the hood. That black little box in front of the battery on the passenger fender with the throttle cable coming out of it. That will disable it completely which was fine for me since it doesn't work worth **** anyway.

I generally push the button to turn mine off
SLP makes a reverse module that's way overpriced... but does what you want....
I found it more economically feasible if I just trained myself to press the TCS button first thing whenever I get in the car

Here is a link for wire diagram for the TCS switch, if it helps.

FYI 127.0.0.1 is your local loopback IP (actually 127.anything is) ... so that URL will only work on your computer

ok so there are 5 wires, 4 are shown on that diagram, bwn/white seem to get the signal. now i would think if those two leads were switched it could work?? from the look of it that is normally an open loop, so it would need to be closed. now the switch, how exactly does that work, since it is momentary and only works when the car is on i dont know how it really works. i would try things but id ont want to have to buy parts i mess up haha

sicne pink is power in, wouldnt a 12v on/off switch work? put it inline and turn the switch off so power wont get to the switch? then come track time you can switch it off and not have to worry about doing it every time you restart or having to unplug something.

Each time the EBCM sees a [momentary] ground at pin C1:17, it toggles the on/off state of the TCS.
A switch inline on the pink wire, no it won't work, the EBCM will still have TCS on.
The pink wire is only the power for the TCS switch indicator led and is not the power source for the EBCM/TCS.
Free training: after you start the engine, press the switch.

The EBCM is looking for a puls input, of a ground on pin 17 to deactivate the TCS. The only way you would beable to do this would to use a relay with a momentary action controled by a 12volt keyd source from either strat or run position.
I am sure the SLP unit is doining just this but with solidsate type of function.

well see i was thinking, if you unplug that switch tcs is off, so i was thinking if power was cut to it, it wouldnt know the switch was tehre and it woudl be an error and trip tcs off. like i said it wasnt a real big deal, i was just bored and thinking lol
