High IAT count/ does it pull timing?

An iffy solution to this problem:
You can replace the inlet air resistor with a set value resistor, or timing tricker, as we call it. This will fool your computer into thinking it is colder outside and keep you on the more aggressive timing tables.
HOWEVER, there is a catch. If you car cannot handle the additional timing (ie you have KR) then the timing tricker will actually give you a negative effect, and all of your power will disappear into knock retard.

At an IAT of 90 degrees F you lose 1 degree of timing. By 140 degrees F you lose 7 degrees of timing. See my post near the bottom of this page:
