02 sims did make a difference.....
Well, since my cam/headers/clutch installed I purchased a set of 02 Sims thinking it would just make the light go away.. After the first few days I noticed the Check Engine light was still on along with the P0140/P0160 code.. Had the car dyno'ed and felt pretty good.. my A/F was a little rich.. Problem was the car wouldn't IDLE at all with the A/C on...Also would search ALOT trying to find the idle with or without the A/C on.. and averaged 23mph..
It was driving me crazy and didn't want to lay the cash down for LS1edit (Head's/LS6 intake are in the making).. Anyways, I got a tip from a forum member and he recommended they might be bad 02 sims due to still throwing P0140/P0160 codes.. I called Speedtek (orignal purchase) and asked them about the problem which they had never heard of bad 02 sims but offered to exchange them out for me.. I exhanged them and installed the new 02 sim's and appr. 50 miles later the car idle's perfect now, no check engine light, seems to rev smoother, idle with A/C on, not get 25.5mpg.. Call me crazy but I think when removing cats, the 02 sims do more than just turn the SES light off.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
