check engine light?

check engine light? hey guys need some help... my check engine light came on out of nowhere.. tha car is maintened with the best of evertyhing and is not drivin hard.. anyways it all started with my oil change light, it would always be on.... even after oil changes every 3k miles.... im thinking either its a censor or i need to reset the oil change but i dont know how... i dont want to go to the dealership and get chatged $150 to tell me is something i already knew.... help me out...
To reset the oil change light, all you have to do is hold in the button for your gas milage till the oil light flashes then goes off then release the button. Its in the owners manual. 
if the check engine light is on there is absolutely nothing we can tell you unless you get us a code. FWIW you can do the same thing the dealer does at advance auto for free
