Default Rev limiter in neutral for M6??? --LS1 edit idea inside

Will the neutral/park rev limiter work on an M6 when the clutch is disengaged? I was thinkin I could set it at a certain limit for launching (like a stutter box)

You will have to reduce the rev limiter hysterisis to 1 or so. Otherwise, you risk lauching in the middle of fuel cut-off. Which I'm sure would be disappointing.

Good Luck

i was gonna start a new thread, but what is hysterisis, and whats its impact on something like the rev limiter..

the idea is good, but our rev limiter pulls fuel not spark.. right? so that would be bad as mentioned above.. don't know how hysterisis would help that but then again i dont know what that means

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

MightyMouse, I was wondering the same thing. That and where can I find the hysterisis in the LS1 Edit file?? I could not seem to find it in the limiters section.

On another note, I am also worried about the chance of N2O being sprayed when the low neutral limiter is kicking in. I tend to leave my foot on the gas during shifts. Even though I have a window switch in place there still could be the possibility of the limiter and the N2O colliding.
Say the RPMs fall very low during a WOT shift and the limiter kicks in. A missed gear perhaps, not like that ever happens.

This would leave me to set my N2O higher than the limiter or set the limiter lower than my N2O shot.
