ABS light.... Turn off?

ABS light.... Turn off? I am not sure if this is the right form to post this but i will wing it anyway..... After my 9inch install i have no more ABS and the light is on. I am pretty sure you cant turn it off with a tune bc it has it own computer am i correct? ANyway in NJ 96 vehicle and up get teh OBDII check and i was just curious if this will come up when they check adn say i have no ABS(hence i will fail) or can i just pull the bulb and everythign be cool? thanks alot for the help 
yes that will be a problem when they do the visual check of all the guages and lights.If the ABS is tuned from the system then the light will no longer come on at all when the car is started.This is how the inspector knows the system is working correctly.
