Default Rear ABS and VSS...can it be the same?

I am looking to get a new rearend like the Ford 9" with a spool or locker, but the only ABS sensor system they use is the 4-channel. I on the other hand have the 3, which senses the ring gear speed. Is there a way to have the signal for the VSS simulate the rear ABS signal? Or maybe have 4-channel modified for 3-channel? I don't want that ABS INOP light, but don't want to take the bulb out.

Wouldn't a 12 bolt be alot easier & cheaper?

I have heard too many 12-bolt failures with the M6. I am planning to install a turbo system and have a mjor amount of torque. I don't want any doubt about the Ford 9 not breaking. Besides, in the 12-bolt I can't get a 3-ch ABS with the spool.
