Default Problem with Superchips

I just recently purchased a Superchips tuner for my truck. When first hooking up the tuner I had some message on the screen that said "no programing installed". I assumed that it was refering to the truck. I then started the process of programing the truck and it when through a 5 min programing process. After it was done it registered my VIN and flashed a screen that listed my model year and engine size. I wanted to recalibrate for my tire size difference so I went back into their custom menu and changed the tire size for what I have and tried to program it into the PCM. Well this time the Superchips programer says that it cant detect a PCM and to "check my cables and make sure the ignitioj is on". After several failed attempts to get it to program I gave up and tried to hook my Autotap to the PCM. Thats when I realized what happened. My Autotap couldnt detect the PCM either so the Superchips must have had no programing installed and then installed this empty program into my PCM, which esentialy deleted it. I tried all the disconnecting of the battery and pulling fuses. Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone heard of this problem? My last resort is to have the truck towed to the dealer monday for PCM flashing.

Iv'e had vehicles in our (gm) shop before for inproper flash .Only a few inop. pcm's had to replace. Don't know how powerchips system works but dont you have to lock it to your pcm in some fashion? Maybe a faulty unit?

I have in the last year, successfully installed my 2001 superchips tuner tuning, and recently un-installed it with no probs. today, I wanted to re-install it, and it came up with a "call Superchips" message, and now my truck won't start. I called them and Randy said to try the battery cables for a half hour, which I am now waiting on. He says if it doesn't work, that I can send them my PCM and they will fix it.
Should I do this? Should I just have the dealer come pick it up and say it won't start? I am pretty sol now, it will take at least a week now if I send it in to them to fix, even with overnight. Any input?? Help! Sam

EDIT-I hooke dit back up, and she runs! Thank God!
Now, before the tuner crashed, I DID get to delete top speed limiter. The limiter is STILL removed! I took it up to about 110, and no cut off. It should cut off at 97. What is this going to do if I want to re-install my HPPIII settings? I am real hesitant to even mess with it now. I will ask superchips about it when I call them tomorrow. BTW I don't have Onstar either. Supposedly, the anti theft sometimes interferes with the tuning, and it activates. Shitty!
