Default MAFT and the infamous P0102 Code Help

Just installed the MAFT 5.2 (awaiting autotap) and It automatically threw the P0102 code. Checked all wires and the dip switches are all at 0 and off. Reset PCM and the code still comes back. Checked the Eng Sns fuse and it was good and the connector on the MAF is on right. Anybody have some ideas. BTW my MAF is ported and polished but it was done about 2 months ago and no code.

O.K. Here is some more info. Take the MAFT out and wire up the MAF regular and still same code. Could someone have sold me a defective MAFT? and Made my MAF go bad? Any help would be appreciated.

MAFT may be toast. It still do it with both settings at 0 (pass through)?

Did you disconnect your negative battery cable before you installed the MAFT? If not, that is probably the source of your code.
The PCM will throw a code if you disconnect the connection to the MAF and the battery is still connected.

I didn't disconnect the battery when I installed my MAFT and have disconnected the MAF before without any codes. Hm.....what am I, lucky?

Found out what was wrong. The person that sent me MAFT gave me the directions with backward wiring diagram. I am not blaming him though should have checked with the manufacture first. Well I checked with them and rewired and all is fine now.
