Dyno Tune Pricing ? I have a Comp Cams XE-R cam and a couple misc. bolt-ons and I'm adding a D1SC blower. What kind of cost am I going to be looking at for a Dyno Tune. I don't need an exact number but anything within a range would help. i.e. is this going to be a $400 thing, $500, $1000? Also, how long should I expect to see them tuning this? The place I was looking at going seems to be pretty standard at about 2 hours of time with just a couple of runs. Is that all it takes? I don't need perfection or the power stretched to the max, I just don't want the car to blow up with the blower (aka. "blower-upper").

if you have something like hp tuners allready a dyno shop might be able to dyno tune it for around $150... higher if not... just make sure they've done blown or boosted vette's before...
We currently are running a tuning special. $425.00 for a complete tune on our Mustang Chassis Dyno. Expect the tune to take three to five hours for a complete tune, and you get two 1/4 mile runs on our dyno for that price. Bob

Cool, thanks guys. Got another add-on question, my friend has a 93 Vette with a 383 that needs a Dyno Tune, are they more expensive to tune because of the chips rather than a PCM or is the pricing similar.
