Unknown SES light?
I don't have a scanner to check it myself so I'll be going to the dealer after lunch to let them see whats wrong. I just wanted to see if anyone had any idea's as to what it could be that is wrong.
I was driving along at about 60 mph on the interstate in 6th gear and exited onto an offramp. When I exited I slowed down to about 40-45 mph and left it in 6th since I was going down hill. Pop goes the SES light on the dash. It is a solid SES light no blinking and comes on when I start the car up. Let the car sit for about an hour while I had an appointment and it wouldn't start the first two times I tried it. I would crank and it would act like it does when it starts and as soon as I let off the key it would die. Did this twice to me. I then sat there for about 30 seconds and tried again and started right up. Runs fine, seems to still have plenty of power(I've only ran it up to 3k since the light though). Only power mod would be an air lid which I have allready taken off in prep for the dealer visit. MAF looked fine, air filter is clean, nothing looked out of the ordinary.
Any guesses as to what might be wrong before I go to the dealer? Sorry for being so long but it's my fist SES and I dont wanna screw my car up.
Thanks. Jason.

Could be about anything. A burp of gas got past one of the cats, or one too many misfires. Anything.
There's cheaper places to scan than a dealer. Hope ya still got warranty left....
