Default Switch 3&4 on MAFT w/GMAF?

Do I want 3&4 both off with the GMAF? I knew before but can't remember anymore. Had it for a while but now I need it after I installed my FLP LT's. Rich.

I can't help you with your GMAF question but at least this reply will get you TTT.
If you don't mind, can you tell us about how the installation of the FLP's went. Did you do it yourself in your garage or on a lift? How are the clearances? Did you get everything with the install kit?

I also have a '99 and want to get FLP's for this winter's project.

The third switch is for OBD2 cars that have a blower or NOS that are setting a high MAF code from sucking too much air. The fourth switch is for using an UNMODIFIED Z06 maf sensor. This does the recal so you don't have to spend extra money for a modified unit. Just buy one from a Delco dealer and save $ These are the ONLY times you need to use those switches.

He helped start the header bolts while I was under holding the header. Clearances are decent, y-pipe bangs alittle under WOT, haven't changed oil yet so I don't know if the drain plug will come out or not.Yes everything came with the kit. I did re-use the stock manifold bolts and gaskets though. Took me 3 weeks to complete along with spark plugs. Crossthreaded last bolt on passenger side manifold <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> and at a couple hours a day. Happy with em though.

All dip switches off for GMAF.....I know from experience. I thought the switch...maybe third can't remember was for any modified MAFS. Nope car ran like ****. Called TR they said only on for a 85mm MAFS. All off runs great.
