i know that factory O2's are not accurate at WOT but i am wondering how i got mine down to the 700's with no pinging. to start from the top i got a completely stock 2K2 camaro 6-speed that i special ordered black and only one option to include power everything. i picked up the car on a saturday morning with 4 miles on the clock. then i picked up my wife from home and drove 150 miles to the nearest track that saturday afternoon to get some times. i know that the car was not broken in but i still got a 14.05. then the next 3 weeks i changed the oil and go back with now 900 miles on it. this time i got a best time of 13.54 at 108 which suprised me. i go back home and order ls1 edit with a buddy to cut the price. now i go back to the track with 1800 miles and still hitting mid 13's. i check O2's with a Tech2 and they were at low 900's with no knock. then i remove 5% at a time from the power/rmp table to lean it out at WOT. i finally got down to mid 700's with out any ping and the car kept going faster to a 13.38 at 109.54 wheel hopping ugly with a 2.30 60f. i was racing another black camaro 6-speed that had some mods and he was getting 13.10's with a 2.00 60f and only 108 mph. if my calculations are correct, i should be getting 13.00 maybe 12.90 with just slicks. as anyone else got there O2's voltage this low with out ping?

You should check your WOT O2 readings against a wideband. Everybody's car is different, and perhaps the desired 12.8 a/f ratio for your car will register at around .82 to .85 O2 reading.
Also, it depends on how you are averaging your O2's. I usually don't do a direct average of the O2 values, because there is too much bad data that drags the values around (usually brings the O2 values down). Instead, I chart the O2 readings for the WOT run on excel and take a trendline, excluding the bad data points.

yea thats exactly what i need to do but i dont have an autotap yet. i just borrow the Tech2 from work and i cant transfer that to exel to get avarages. it cant be too lean if i am not picking up any knock even when it is hot. i am also getting 27-29 degrees of timeing so i also know that the pcm is not removing any. i will have to wait before i can compare it with a wideband due to lack of funds though.

I dont know about those o2 readings but it is very possible that all of those gains you have seen at the track have been due to break-in. My car felt like a turd when I bought it, by 5K miles it ran like a raped ape.
