Anything I can do for tuning w/o ls1 edit
I finally autotapped my car yesterday and some of the things were waaaay outta whack.
IAC counts were 70-80 (sugring to 135)
Fuel Trims were running lean on both banks.
Timing advance was around 37 degrees.
The car last time i dyno tuned was setup for a B1 with no heads and macs. We advanced the timing to around 7 (my car seemed to like more timing).
Now, that i have the heads and mms 229 cam.. these are the results.. is there anything i can do until i can afford another dyno tune?? or someone to use ls1edit on her.???
thanks
devin

Lean: Remove ported MAF ends if you have them. That will help reduce your timing too.
IAC: If your idle speed is pretty close to your desired idle speed, enlarge the TB hole by 1/32". You can also turn the idle set screw a 1/2 turn open.
Timing: Reverse timing tricker. Use a resister inline from your IAT to make the PCM think the air temp is 75*C or higher (I forgot the size; the FI guys would know). That will pull about 3* at WOT.

Thanks Ragtop.. i'll see if someone will swap my ported maf end s for stock. and adjust the TB a little. I'll see if someposts about the resistor size is someone else posts up.
thanks again.
Devin.
thanks again.
