BBK TB and IAC count
Should I close the blade all the way and let the computer have control over the idle? Another note… the throttle position is .4 at idle… my stock TB was 0%

I have read a few post about IAC but most guys have to adjust it because of an aftermarket cam… but most of them seemed concerned if the count was 0

I have fast toys ram air and a very well sealed air box.
On cold starts it sounds like i have a blower on the car "wish full thinking" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
A lot of guys trash the BBK, I have had the blade stick a few times... the 1st day I put it on...
I’m sure it does not make anymore power if any at all. I do think that it makes more power at part throttle thou.

Your idle speed will probably drop to 500 rpm (which is the stock speed programmed into the PCM for A4's) before you will get any IAC counts. Of course this all changes if you have reprogrammed the PCM for a faster idle speed. M6 cars on the other hand will see IAC counts if there is not enough air flowing past the plate to maintain an 800+ rpm idle.

By the way, DONT drill a hole in your plate in this case. It would only reduce your already too low IAC count.
