Default What do you need to tune

By spring, my car will have headers, y-pipe, ported and polished heads, cam, new valvetrain and maybe milled heads. I need to have an idea of what exactly it is I need to tune. I have the SLP maf and airlid already. Any input would be great. Thanks.

Default Re: What do you need to tune

I would always tune the MAF table first so that the LTFTs are between 0 and -5% for all part throttle operation. The way that I do this, is to get the car out on an expressway and slow down to where the engine will barely pull 4th gear, and then start the ATAP session while I slowly accelerate up thru 4th gear. In this manner, I visit nearly all of the fuel cells except for the WOT cells.
Then with LS1Edit, I modify the MAF table values so that the LTFTs are between 0% and -5%.
Then I work on the WOT fuel tables.
