~~~Need Edit Help~~~
1. I logged a few runs with autotap paying attention to my Knock Retard, Ltrims and 02's. My knock retard stayed at 0 and my ltrims were at +12avg. My O2's were around 880-890 at WOT. I took the advice of the LS1 Edit Faq and multiplied my MAF Table. I messed around with this until I found an acceptable number of 110.5%. This resulted in my ltrims being a stable average of -.08. I am happy with this number as this is very close to 0. The problem that I have now is that my O2's have pigged out to .920-.930.
2. I am looking at the faq now and it talks about adjusting this with the timing table, or the PE vs RPM table. I am not a tuning wizard, so this is all greek to me. I would appreciate some help as to what I should do to further tune the car and get these numbers within an acceptable range. Please be as thorough with your advice as possible, so that I can avoid confusion on my part. Thanks... George
PS, here is my car details:
1999 Trans Am WS6
M6
MAC midlength headers
off-road y-pipe
Ported Stock MAF (I know, but I am hoping I can work with what I got)
MTI Airlid
Holley Filter
Brian Green Ram Air Kit
Flowmaster 3" Catback
TR 224 cam (224/224 561lift 112lsa)
ASP Crank Pulley
but to be safe i wouldnt tune any of that till you get on wideband!! but as far as i know the PE/RPM table is just like the MAF table.. 101+ richens 99- leans
just find the rpms you are rich at and lean them out a little... but let some others help ya out cause i may be wrong on this.
BTW: if you dont have cats turn off the Cat over temp feature! that will help you run a little leaner on top end
I did turn off the COT feature.. Thanks for the help
After this, then use the Power Enrichment "RPM" button to tune for WOT air/fuel.
