tuning a stock car is it worth it should i atap and edit my stock car. well its not completely stock but i want to get as much power out of it so that i can get a new best in 1/4 before adding mods. current mods in sig.

Re: tuning a stock car is it worth it I have bolt ons including LT headers and the tuning helped. I only got a few HP but the motor was running too lean due to the headers. I would say it couldn't hurt.

Re: tuning a stock car is it worth it If you have the tools availabe why not do it.. People have been known to pick us some power with the Hypertech. Think of it this way, GM puts the most conservative tune on these cars that it can. Mess with some of the valus:Fuel, Timing, etc... And you will see more power..

Re: tuning a stock car is it worth it it does help. i got 2 tenths from my car when it was completely bone stock and only 1800 miles on it. dropped from 13.50s to 13.30s and gained 2 mph to 109. all i did was lean out the PE/RPM table till my O2s read .850 with no knock. is your car has those little mods then it will help you even more.
