Questions after LT Install
Questions after LT Install I installed my Hooker LT's and now I have been doing some tuning my #'s are at :
Base
LTFT's: 1.62(B1) 1.33(B2)
STFT's: -.59(B1) -.86(B2)
Knock: 0
WOT
O2's: .897(B1) .884(B2)
Knock: 0
MAFT settings : Base: 15% rich / WOT: 4% lean
After doing some pulls on the Highyway w/ a friend he said whenever i get off the gas I leave alot of smoke. and when i was pulling out slowly i was smokeing also. Is this something that is typical after a LT install because of no cats? I thought my #' looked pretty good on A-tap. Also my LTFT's stayed at the same setting as when i had the stock manifolds on. I need to go to a dyno for sure but was just wondering if anyone had any other info. My mods ar in my sig for that info.

Re: Questions after LT Install Your numbers look well enough. Your a/f may be a little off on the top end, but like you said, you will be able to figure that out at the dyno.
You may want to look into your PCV system. The stock PCV system is notorious for smoking on decelleration. You let off the gas, your Manifold pressure goes waaay negative and your PCV starts sucking in oil from the crankcase, hence making you smoke like a freight train.
After doing one of these sprints, check the back of your TB blade. If you PCV is admitting oil, you will typically seen an oil residue or splatters.
