Default P0327, checked everything and its OK?

I don't understand what is going on here. I threw a P0327 code (front knock sensor low voltage) and checked the resistance and voltage of both. They both Ohm out to 100k ohms and both produce a little voltage when the motor is tapped with a hammer. This doesn't explain why this code comes up though. It first came up last week, then again this week. Any ideas?

I'm fighting the same code right now. I've replaced the wiring harness and the knock sensor. Still trough the code again. So I pulled the intake. The wiring harness got pinched and the oil seal on the bottom of the knock sensor was leaking. So the knock sensor had oil on it. I'm waiting on a new seal before I put my car back together.

So check your wiring harness and seal .

I doubt its my wiring harness being pinched because its been over a year from when I installed my LS6 intake and the wire has plenty of movement at the back of the intake manifold. Got a part # for that seal by chance? Keep us all updated on your quest to rid yourself of the code. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Anybody else?

If you get one ks DTC (P0327 or P0332), it's a bad knock sensor; if you're throwing both codes, it's either the ks wire or the pcm. If you're just throwing one code, and you're ABSOLUTELY 100% sure that the ks and the wire are okay, check your pcm for a burnt pin. I forgot the numbers, but one of them is pin #51. It's in the Helm's manual.

Let me clarify: one code is a bad knock sensor, if you had a burnt pin, you'd throw both codes meaning that the pcm is bad.

i had a 332 i could not shake, the sensor measured ok and all that.. so i switched front and back and the problem went to the front... which means bad sensor.. replaced the sensor and its all good.

I just wonder why the sensor can measure out OK yet still throw that code. Oh well, time to change her out I think.
