Warranty on tuned pcm???????

Warranty on tuned pcm??????? if i were to reprogram my computer with the HPP3 or diablo sport predator, would GM still do warranty work even if i change the computer back to stock??? in other words can GM detect that i have messed with the computer even if stock tuning is in there???

Re: Warranty on tuned pcm??????? Well I can tell you this from my experience this week. My transmission went out so I ran by the house, removed the programming and took it to the dealer. The next day I went by to check on it. The service manager never mentioned the hpp3, my denali cluster or the 180 thermostat. But said there have been some modifications done to this truck and if someone from gm knew it they'd put a warranty block on it. He was talking about my cold air intake, granatelli maf, and the throttlebody bypass. Oops <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> forgot to pull it off. he told me to take it home and put the stock maf back on and take off the tb-bypass, but let the cold air kit stay on it. He said the main reason was because the service engine light never came on for the problem it would help them to narrow down the problem. Turns out they had to relpace the whole valvebody. So I'd if you remove your programming first you should be fine.
