Please HELP!!!!
A lean-to-rich switch is determined when the HO2S voltage changes from less than 300 mV to more than 600 mV. A rich-to-lean switch is determined when the HO2S voltage changes from more than 600 mV to less than 300 mV. This diagnostic runs once per ignition cycle. The dealer tells me it's because of my mods that are listed in my sig. they say the only way to stop the light is by getting the PCM reprogramed is this true???? If it will take care of my problem I have no problem getting the work done, but I have no idea were to take it around in MD. If any one has any insight on this or any ideas of who to get a new PCM from I would appreciate it. Thanks in Advance Scott
Have you tried using EFI live, Autotap, or Ease to see what's going on??? That's where I would start..
Also, I think you mentioned headers... are the O2's located about where they were before, or much farther downstream?
RE: Programming.. you can solve this issue with programming .. via LS1Edit or a tuner. If it really becomes an issue, you can just have the diagnostic test for those two codes disabled...
Hope this helps
Tom
