P1133 SES Code?

P1133 SES Code? I put a mac offroad y-pipe on my car with o2 simms. Both the pipe and the simms were bought used. I set 1 P1133 ses code today which this site says is (HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1). I don't know exactly what that means, so i'm just curious, is it just bad o2 simms, and if so, will it affect my performance? Thanks in advance.
