Default can you use 02 pcm on 99 f body?
can i use a 2002 pcm on a 99 f body with out changing harness?

I believe it is the same engine harness. The GM replacement at the dealer is the same for 99-02. But maybe the GM replacement differs from the orginal factory installs.

the calibrations in the software are a little different, i think, so you may need to do some tuning.(99 had bigger injectors if i remember right)

All you have to do is re-flash the computer with the original GM program with your Vin #. Many tuners or any GM dealership can do this for you.

Yes, the injectors were different from year to year so if you upgrade to 2002 programming you will have to change your injectors OR update that data in the computer with a programmer/tuner package.
