What should be adjusted after a cam install to take full advantage of it's potential?

Depends if the valvetrain can handle the extra RPMs, but, increasing the rev limiter is one....
by how much depends on cam specs.

There is alot of things that should be done to take advantage of a cam:

1. Adjust rev-limiter to range of cam. This would be set to take advantage of the peak power of the cam.

2. Adjust Idle speed. This will sometimes need to be changed depending on the cam.

3. Adjust for IAC counts

4. Tune to achieve desired A/F ratio

This is just a few things, but it is a time consuming process, but well worth it....
