Would u recomend a Hpp3?? I have an 02 firehawk m6, current mods are long tube headers, hi-flo cats,dual-dual exhaust,slp mass air w/smooth bellow, ram air kit and probly getting a t/body.. Do u think i should get a power programmer or is it not worth it?? please reply,,, Thanks,

Re: Would u recomend a Hpp3?? Everything I have read on this board points to it not being worth it. I have also heard of it having the potential to actually rob horsepower. I have heard the new diablo unit may be worth it. Might be easier to use then LS1 edit <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Re: Would u recomend a Hpp3?? If you have an A4 and can find a HPP3 used for around 200 then i'd say its a good deal.
If it's an M6... unless you're changing gears, tire size, etc.. the only useful thing is the fan controls and a switch is cheaper
If you plan on doing any big changes to the car, and are fairly computer competent as well as understanding (or willing to learn) the LS1 Edit tables LS1 Edit is the way to go.
If you're not going to make many changes, a custom DYNO tune is about as much as the LS1 Edit software so you may be better off going to a local speed shop that has the unlimited LS1 Edit and paying them to do the programming.
