MAF ends causing rev limiter problems?
Has anyone heard of aftermarket MAF ends causing rev limiter problems? It hits rev limiter (set at 6500 on an LS1) in the 2-3 shift pretty badly before it shifts. I have reprogrammed the computer to settings where it should not have this problem, but it continues. I have heard that aftermarket maf ends could change engine characteristics that may cause something like this. Any ideas??? TIA Ryan

Re: MAF ends causing rev limiter problems?
ported ends can cause shifting lag on A4's
if you still have the stock ends put them back on to see if it fixes the issue <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
usually the 2-3 is where we nail the limiter. I have mine lowered like 4-5mph <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
