p0300 Misfire Code Urgent Help!
Hey guys I"m getting a misfire code after doing the following:
Removed MAF Ends and went back to stock
Replaced filter in lid
Drove car without sensor plugged into the lid
Removed MAFT
Lastly, (and this is the dumb one) tried to reboot the computer because of the code and accidentally tried to start the car with fuse put in the TCS BAT spot instead of PCM BAT.
Anyways, now I get the code (tried to clear it and it came back) car idles like crap could someone PLEASE help a brotha out.

log your plugs with atap and see if a cyl is misfiring. You probably have bad plugs or a loose wire??
if you're getting a misfire code then you have a misfire that needs to be fixed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Sorry to be a clown but could you tell me how to log it using ATAP. I only use atap for air/fuel stuff.
Thanks.

Try checking your engine sen fuse under the hood. If is blown the car will idle like crap and set off misfire dtcs. What if u clean the injectors.
gm injectors get dirty fast!!

Re: p0300 Misfire Code Urgent Help!
I ran into this on a friends car. Slight stumble at idle and under low RPM load. I checked it with autotap and every cylinder is misfiring! All is fine at WOT and mild accelleration, but at idle this happens. No SES lights, but the P0300 code was in the computer. Any suggestions?

These dampers MUST be balanced to crank correctly.

Sounds like you both need to have the crankshaft postion relearned. Resetting the pcm or reprogramming it requires the relearn. The new balancer could effect crankshaft position learned status. You will have to have it relearned by the dealer or by somebody that has a tech II.
