p0300 Misfire Code Urgent Help!
Removed MAF Ends and went back to stock
Replaced filter in lid
Drove car without sensor plugged into the lid
Removed MAFT
Lastly, (and this is the dumb one) tried to reboot the computer because of the code and accidentally tried to start the car with fuse put in the TCS BAT spot instead of PCM BAT.
Anyways, now I get the code (tried to clear it and it came back) car idles like crap could someone PLEASE help a brotha out.

if you're getting a misfire code then you have a misfire that needs to be fixed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

<strong>ok here goes to make a long story short i have a PO 300 also only diff is i was not getting that coad any other time. after i put on my ASP pulleys crank and Alt on she poped that coad?????????????? i dont think anything's wrong with the plug's or wire's i put the 10.4 MM wire's on with the NGK's about 8 or 9 month's agaio. and i hade it checked plenty of time's i think it's the pulleys. sound weard to you gye's??????????????? lot'a of other's was saying the same thing. something about the crank's not turning the same speed as the camshaft. it's not missfiring bad at all you can't even tell. anybody got any good answers??????????? i was thinking about putting the stock one's back on??? <img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">3rd party pulley or dampers can put the crank out of balance ( esp cheap ones) and since the crank position sensor looks for rotational differences the unbalanced pulley will keep the crank out of wack and sensor tripping false misfires.
These dampers MUST be balanced to crank correctly.
