Lost my LS1 Edit tune??? Please HELP!!!
Lost my LS1 Edit tune??? Please HELP!!! Went to the track last night and my rev limiter all of a sudden seems like it is set at around 6000RPM when it was tuned to be at 6800. The ONLY thing that was different that I am aware of is that the SPEED sensor on my tranny was disconnected because we had to put a BMR torque arm on and the Speed sensor's cable was not quite long enough for reconnection.
SO.........On a M6 car, would the fact that the speed sensor is not in the loop so to speak, cause the computer for some reason to default to a diffrent set of parameters because it is not geeting a signal from it's speed sensor. SPECIFICALLY, would the car ignore the LS1 REV LIMITER setting and go with the default value (6200RPM???).

It has its own adjustable parameter: RPM limit for Bad VSS.

Re: Lost my LS1 Edit tune??? Please HELP!!! Thanks TOMCAT and SPEARCAT. I was wondering where my 10MPH in the eight went!!!! It actually did 8.3 @ 87 and it is capable of 7.3/7.4 @ 100 so needless to say I was bummed out. Damn computer is too smart!!!
