FYI for you LS1 Edit/Laptop guys without built-in serial ports....
My original HP USB->Serial adaptor was transfering 512 addresses ~ every 8s. I tried the Belkin 409 and it was going at a rate of 4s. The Belkin 103 worked at just over 1s but I couldn't get it to work with A-tap (latest Win version).
I finally bought a Keyspan adaptor at CompUSA. It takes 22 minutes to read a PCM and works with A-tap with 0 issues. I paid $50 for it. The drivers are also MS certified unlike the Belkins.
My laptop is a HP ZT1130 with XP Home.
