is it OK to use 2 differnt type softwares for tuning

Default is it OK to use 2 differnt type softwares for tuning

I wanting to use EFI Live for a basic LTs tune and for the valet 2nd rev limiter or speed limited.

then after cam get a major tune with LS1 edit or HP tuners or maybe a handheld tuner.

is this ok

w/full tuning packages like ls1edit and HP Tuners should be no problem sinc eyou just read the entire PCM first and modify the cal part... handhelds on the other hand can cause problems since they don't modify your tune, they generally have tunes stored in them

HPT and LS1Edit cannot read a PCM with a custom EFILive OS. You would need to reflash your PCM with a stock OS, allow your alternate tuner to modify the cal, then upgrade your OS back to the EFILive V3 OS.

and vice versa...efi & edti cannot read an hptuners custom OS..or at least so I've heard.
