Spark Retard Limit (LS1 Edit)
Spark Retard Limit (LS1 Edit) I noticed that on my stock programming that the Spark Retard Limit above 2000rpm is 0. That would mean that the PCM can pull no more than 0 at those engine speeds correct? That may be why my motor will audibly ping and not calm at all. I have noticed no KR when this pinging is happening.

whatever those values are set at the timing shouldnt go below
all of mine are like -10, and i just have mine around 5500-6500 set at 20

Re: Spark Retard Limit (LS1 Edit) The spark retard limit table is the lowest timing the computer can pull back too. So if you set it too 0, the computer can retard your timing to TDC basicly. If you put it at 20, the computer can only adjust timing back to 20...in the cells so labled.
