I actually have a kludge solution now that logs data from the DIY-WB and then combines the results with A-Tap/EFI-Live. I use a cheap but useful data acquisition board DataQ that makes the programming very easy. I later plan to put boost on this same board, since it can all be recorded as a simple vOut with a 2 bar GM MAP sensor.

My current approach simply merges the two sources, each device (odbII, WB vOut) gets logged separately, but they are synchronized on a common timestamp. I then merge the two files together based on the closest match and analyze in Excel. This is easy with ATAP since they simply use the system time, but more of a kludge with EFILive since it only writes a frame count and a time stamp that is offset from when the log was started (I have to manually get the timers synched with EFILive, but it blows ATAP out of the water in so many other ways).

The next version of EFILive will include an API that will allow software developers to utilize the EFILive engine from other applications; this is when I plan to make my solution a little more slick. I’ve downloaded their beta release, but it seems too early to work with right now (no documentation, samples….). I will post details and executables if I ever get anything working reliably.
