Help! Throwing a code about infrequent switching of 02s
Come to think of it, it makes sense. With headers it might take longer to heat up the 02's and the meantime they get coated with junk.
The bung on my Hookers was screwed up enough by Hooker, if somehow you could have forced the O2 into the bung, the tip would have been obscured by part of the flange. Don't know if this applies to the other headers or not. Seems like it happens more the futher down stream the O2's are.
Local used car dealer claims brake fluid works good for cleaning up deposits on O2 sensors too. I don't know as I've not tried it.

The headers were on a 2000 WS6 with the same type of mods just before my car and they did not throw a code or anything!!

So if your sensors look OK, check the cats themselves.

I am also trying to track what feels/sounds like a "slight" infrequent "miss" that has also just started. All plugs, wires, push rods, and springs are good. I might just be paranoid after the 02 issue started.
Also I just found a place that will weld up the peices I need to get rid of the cats wile on the car gaining me 1.5" of ground clearance!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Will the fact of not having cats screw with the front sensors??
What change have you made that started the codes? What type/brand of mods? I'm wondering if this is just an LT problem. Or if it is connections or what other common factor we are having??

I wouldn't get these codes neeearly as often before the H/C install.
When I get home I'll post the exact codes.

I was wondering if I'm (possibly We) are getting the O2 codes because of the AIR pumping too much/little air or because it's crapped out from the headers.
How many of us are getting the code that have an AIR pump with no restrictor mod? And how many of us are getting an O2 code that have deleted the AIR?
Sounds like we may need a survey of mods/conditions associated with the exact faults to figure this out.
For me: Lid, cutout, LT headers with no AIR Restrictor, stock tuning. P0133, P0152, P1415
I will check the O2 extension wires and harnesses for bad/burnt pins or discontinuities.
