This is the gas cap code.Its throwing this code all the time even when I haven't goten gas.I shut the car off when I get gas.Is the gas cap bad? Anybody had this happen to yea

My car has the same problem at 70k. You have a leak somewhere.

Mine, luckily is my gas cap. The seal on it is bad.

 

i've been getting it intermittently for a year or so. it comes on and i get pissed and swear that i'll do something about it, it goes off and i forget etc etc. it's a ridiculous cycle.

 

Try replacing your gas cap and see if that helps.

On another tangent you could see if the dealer will honor it under the emissions items warranty - as that is the purpose of the pressurized gas tank (emissions warranty is a good bit longer than normal warranty 5/75 maybe?)
