Default Engine idles at 1800 after cam install

I installed a TR224 cam in a 00... the vehicle wont go below 16-1800 RPM when driving. Then when coming to a complete stop, it slowly settles down to a perfect 800 RPM idle. Other mods are Hooker LTs and a lid.

We removed the AIR pump and EGR valve in anticipation of LS1 edit... could the codes thrown by the lack of emissions equipment cause these drivability problems? There are no vaccum leaks.

Problem fixed. A 1/4 inch hole was too big for the bypass air hole in the throttle body blade.
