Default A/F Ratio

Is there a way to tell your A/F Ratio with autotap and is it accurate. i have a little knock retard in the high rpm's, and wanted to see if the A/F ratio is leaning out or something. i deescreened my maf and ever since my idle is chopy.
thanks.

The O2 sensors would be your best bet but they aren't really that accurate at WOT. They can give you a ballpark idea though. Shoot for O2s between .870-.920. More towards the .920 if you're having pinging problems.

Your idle is going to be at a 14.7:1 ratio regardless of what you've done to your MAF sensor.

Colonel thanks for the tip, I checked my logs and the bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 are at an average of about 870 . by the way the engine is 5.3 ext cab silverado. is that number good? what would be the chopy idle?
