Factory Rev Limiter???

Factory Rev Limiter??? What is the factory Rev limiter on a 2002 LS1. I have heard so many different things. My car hits the limiter at 5800 rpms, according to the tach. Also I have heard 6200. If that's the case then my tach is off. And also what is everyone shifting at? The car is stock with a lid, filter, and MAF sensor. Re: Factory Rev Limiter??? I have seen the factory PCM file for a 2000 LS1 F-car. Rev limiter was 6200rpm. Not sure if '02 is any different.
Your tach is most likly off. Most of them are.

Re: Factory Rev Limiter??? The stock flash file for my 2001 Firehawk has the rev limit at 6,200 rpms.
(stock 3.23 gears)
The shift points are:
1-2 37 MPH 6,000 rpms
2-3 76 MPH 6,000 rpms
3-4 125 MPH 5900 rpms
