Default LS1 Edit...

How Hard is Ls1 Edit to use. I am looking at putting a cam and soem Xras on my car but i wonder if i shoudl just take me car somewhere and have it done or if i could do it??

Hard is a realitive term. It's very easy to use, so long as you understand what the values mean in the parameter that you are adjusting. Maybe you might want to read through the LS1 Edit FAQ link on this page to get a feel for what you need to know. I found most of it to be rather easy.

so how are you supposed to know what to set your parameters at for a certain cam?

I just got Edit in the mail and most of it seems pretty straight forward. The only hard part for me is how should I go about adjusting the car to run richer or leaner? Some people say adjust the MAF tables, other say adjust the Injector tables. I have no idea why one way is better than another.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />
