Default Can LS1 Edit Help Pass Smog?

I'm going to put a 224 cam in my Z06. In California a few have passed with this cam on a 114LSA but most fail. I was curious if it was possible to tune the car to run lean for the smog test with LS1 Edit. Can it be set to run 15.0 A/F instead of 14.7 with Edit? Any ideas other than raising the idle and setting the fans to come on at a higher temp?

I won't have to smog anytime soon, but I sure as hell don't want to pull the cam to pass.

Anyone????

2006 is when you have to do the testing again. So don't worry about it until the time comes. Good tuning means staying within the closed loop A/F ratio PCM parameters or you will set a code. Your open loop WOT should be at 12.5 A/F ratio. With your stock catalytic convertors and all emission devices in operating order you should pass.
