Default O2 Issues please help

Ok guys I am having what appears to be a bad O2 according to Autotap. Bank 2 sensor 1 is only showing about 34 to maybe 50mv and when I let off it shows negative. I swapped to a different O2 and it still shows the same. Next since I have Hooker Longtubes I took the extensions and hooked the passenger side to the driver's O2 and the drivers side wire to the passenger's O2. If it was a bad O2 it should have changed to Bank 1 sensor 1 on Autotap but it still showed Bank 2 sensor 1. Next I took the extensions and swapped them completely to see if maybe it was a bad wire and it still shows the same. The only other thing I could possibly think of would be the PCM has forgot what to do itself or something goofed up and been turned off wrong in LS1 edit, but if it was turned off completely it would not read at all??

This is driving me crazy so can someone help me please?

trace that wire and see if its cut. It may be grounding out somewhere. I went though 4 02 sensors before I found out my A/F guage was shorting out my drivers side 02. I removed the gauge and no probs since!

Chad, you're the guy that came to Lubbock for the 408 right? I am the guy with the white SS with the cam.
I have been having the same problems, but instead of O2's going to zero, one goes to over 1000mv. I will be checking wires again soon, I am thinking that maybe where the wires go up close to the header and are wrapped with that silver crap that one may be heat damaged, even though no outside evidence.
If that does not work, I may be switching PCMs with someone to see if that helps.

Check out the routing of the O2 harness. It may have been changed from stock and now is shorting out against the headers. Be careful, those headers get very hot.

I am talking about the entire harness, the put with the O2 sensor and the part the the O2 sensor harness connects to.

I installed FLP headers and I routed the O2 sensor harness in a different path.

XAntivenomX yeah that's me and yes I also have the same problem because the one that is reading high like it's supposed to sometimes goes to 1000 but that may be because the computer is dumping fuel for the other one only reading 36mv. Who knows at this point. I spoke with the dealership and he seems to think that it is something with the harness, and yes they know about the motor and they don't care. I will not be off from work until Wednesday so who knows but it's driving me crazy, I've got this new motor and can't enjoy it yet.

Well, let me(and everyone) know what happens if it works for you, I will try it, and I will do the same if I find something that works.
