Default 42# Lucas injectors???

Are these injectors easy to tune with LS1 EDIT?

I use the GM injector 24508208 which is 42 lbs and had no problems tuning them via LS1edit.

I'm guessing you changed your injector flow rate with those GM 42's? Was it very hard?

What did you pay for a set of 8 injectors? I didn't know GM sold 42# injectors.

Yes I was able to tune these injectors in real nicely via LS1edit, no problems.

The part number I listed is a GM part number, they are used in the GM Grand AM Cup Corvettes, and also used in the SC 3800 V6 engines.
Not cheap, $450 for the set.
They are same design made by Bosch.

The Lucas 42# injectors are certainly VERY different in internal design than the Bosch injectors. Generally speaking, we have had MUCH better results in drivability, hot start, and performance with the Bosch injectors. They are also significantly cheaper than the Lucas price seen above due to the higher production volumes.

I have a set of GM OEM GTP injectors for sale, set of 8 for ~$300 shipped I ran them and made 475rwhp with them. They are made by Bosch for GM.

Just got my Bosch SVO 42# injectors and Walbro 340 pump today frpm Detroit Speedworks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> They look sweet!! Thanks to Greg for getting them out to me so fast...You da man!! Call these guys if you are looking for injectors..Great price and quick shipping.
