HELP!! my car wont start
HELP!! my car wont start Ive just installed a ATI procharger kit on my camaro last fall. My car has been in storage since then. I went out to start it this weekend to let the battery charge back up and it was almost dead. The car wouldnt start so i put the charger on the battery. I got the battery charged and now all it does is crank over and it wont fire.
the check engine light is on but i dont have autotap to check it out.
1. Ive got the correct amount of fuel pressure.
2. My Injectors are getting a pulse signal
3. I have spark.
4. cam is turning
my question is what the hell happened?
my guess is maybe the crank pickup sensor is bad or the computer is messed up.
Has anyone had this problem?

Re: HELP!! my car wont start I actually just had the same problem with my 2000 camaro, I also have the pro charger. I did the exact same thing you did with checking spark and fuel, my cam was turning over also. It's probably more than likely flooded.This is what i did just to make sure that it was flooded.I took out the fuel pump and injector relays and then tried to start the car. It almost turned over, so i put the relays back in. Everytime i tried to start it i smelt gas. I had the spark plugs changed and that was it. Try what i had mentioned and see if you have the same results with the whole relay and gas smell thing. Hopefully that is all that is wrong. Let me know what it is, Im interested to find out if you got it running.

You might save me some major cash on trial and error electronic component replacement.

Re: HELP!! my car wont start No mine wasnt on because I had changed my battery and whem i did that the computer resets itself so if I did have any codes or lights they were all reset. Im thinking just change your plugs and you will be fine. Let me know.
Re: HELP!! my car wont start You were right! I put a new set of TR6's and taylor wires on and it fired right up. The spark plugs are a pain in the *** to change. took me 3 hours but it runs alot better than it ever did before.
