Is There a Way to Reprogram an HPP3 to Stock ....?
If you have an HPP3 that was used on one car and the HPP3 was not returned to stock programming, is there a way to reprogram it to stock prior to using it on another car?
TIA

You can't do that. HPPIII is Stone Age Science. It only works on one vehicle at a time. You must download the stock values to the vehicle you used the HPPIII on and THEN go to another vehicle. You can't do multiple vehicles with HPPIII. Get out your check book and buy LS1Edit. That way you can turn water into wine, feed the 5,000 and walk on water. With HPPIII you can only part the Red Sea.

But LS1edit is even worse than HPP3 when it comes to using on more than one car. You can just use it on the first PCM that it is plugged into.
But to answer the question for the first poster, your out of luck The only possible way to have this taken care of is with the help of the makers of HPP3, but they will not do it unless they think the unit crashed and your the original owner.
So i hate to tell you, but you bought a paperweight.

Thanks for the input which was confirmed by Hypertech. However, for $35 they will return it to factory specs, so I'm still way ahead. At least from the $$ standpoint.

Did they know the whole story, or are you the first owner, and not sure what happened
