28/29 * seems to be pretty common, if you search through the posts there's a thread that's not too old (so would come up using search) that was 3 pages or so I think about this...
alot of it depends on the heads and how well they flow, better heads don't need as much timing to make the same power. Also depends on the fuel you use..
Keep in mind though this is peak timing... it's not a steady line 29* all the way across
